2½ hrs Iran
Without second thoughts I could say, that the collection of moments I had to take photographs, while I spend a week in Iran, mounted up to 2½ hrs.
Hardly ever was it possible to flee the controlling eyes of the guide or public observance. Individual journeys into discovery almost impossible. Real life, lived behind walls and veils could only be guessed. A symbolic level was created viewing surfaces and looking into spaces.
The time span felt corresponded with the real time difference between Germany and Iran, which is exactly 2½ hrs. Thought processes about time made up, time lost or time equally distributed stayed caught underneath the veil I had to wear outside my hotel room.
